I've read in some forums that the factory TIM on EVGA GTX470 sucks, so im thinking about changing it. This card comes with a limited life time warranty, so if i change my card's TIM will this void my warranty??

What about ATI HD5850?? it is cheaper, less power consumption, cheaper than gtx470 and seems to be almost as fast a gtx470. Should i get that one instead??
