Can anyone recommend a decent pair of outdoor speakers? Preferably less than $100/pair. I'd be willing to go a little higher if there was a significant increase in quality.
I tried looking on avsforum but the main thread on outdoor speakers over there was way too high end for me.
The title and topic basically sum up my question. I'm looking for houses and some that I like have railroad tracks fairly close by. Does any one know of any websites that have information on how often trains use certain tracks?
A search isn't turning up the old topic, but for you Studio 60 fans, a new episode is schedule to air next Thursday.
The show started really slow, but it began to pick up before the sat it on the shelf for a while. I'm hoping it lasts for more than a couple episodes this time.
As the topic suggests, I'm looking for a firefox extension to block those ads that are becoming popular on news sites. The ones where they have targeted words that have a little balloon pop up when the pointer is positioned on the word and then they make you click elsewhere to get it to go...
As the topic suggest, I need to mount a 2.5" notebook drive into a 3.5" drive bay. I've found a few places online that sell adapters for around $5 but they charge $8-10 for shipping.
Are there any B&M stores that sell something like this?
Or does anyone know of an online place where I...
This was one of the security questions for American Family's website. Most useless question I've ever seen.
Has anyone seen a question dumber than this?
Is there a visable difference between using a vga cable or a dvi to hdmi cable? Which is prefered?
This is for a 42 inch LCD.
update:
So I got the dvi to hdmi cable. I can play video files form my computer just fine. But, when I try and play a dvd I got from blockbuster, it only...

I doubt they will sell for that cheap but if they do HD could become much more mainstream. Hopefully they're as good as this article makes them sound and they come out next Dec.
I just noticed that when I put in an away message in Trillian that has line returns in it, those extra lines do not show up when people read my away message in AIM. Anyone else notice this?
for example, if I put this for my message:
"1
2
3"
It shows up in AIM as:
"123"...
He flew from O'Hare, to London, to Ampsterdam, back to O'hare.
He didn't find them in his bag until he got home. He had his checked luggage randomly searched in one airport and his carry on searched in another. The search didn't find the bottle rockets. He also had matches (he thought...
I'll be moving to the Twin Cities area after graduation. A friend also got a job up there and we're looking to split an apartment. Our jobs are about 30 miles apart.

Anyone from there have any recommendations of nice communities to live in that would approximately split the...
We only have our lease until August and are definitely moving out since we are graduating. They have been remodeling everyone's kitchen and bathrooms. In other apartments, they just let the people stay there and use a different apt. for a bathroom. Now, they said it would be easier for them...
I signed up a couple days ago for the VIP pass (it wa free) so I got in to watch the games right away. It's kinda cool being able to watch any game that is on. Screen size is a little small though.
The only problem is black outs of local games so I can't watch UW-Milwaukee while I'm at work.
I'm going to Jamaica for spring break at the end of February. I read that I can get through customs with a certified birth certificate and a drivers license but I've heard some people suggest getting a passport anyway.
Anyone have any experience with this?
edit* the reason I'm asking...
Just as the topic says. Is there any way to middle click links in a flash application to open them in a new window? I've noticed more and more sites using flash and it gets annoying not being able to open links in a new tab.
ign.com and news.com are two that come to mind
Anyone else...
I won a couple tickets to Ja Rule at The Rave in Milwaukee for next weekend, the 18th. I'm out of town because it's Fathers Day so I won't be using them. I'll give them to the first person that pm's me wanting them.
clarification: They're not actually tickets, they are vouchers for free...
Anyone know why the check box for "Open new tab for Middle-click or Ctrl-click on Bookmarks" would keep unchecking itself in the tabbroswer extension settings? No matter how many times I've checked the stupid box, eventually it gets unchecked again. I can't figure it out for the life of me. I...
A friend of mine is having a problem with an unknown exe file showing up in the task manager. The program is sbas.exe. A search on google turns up exactly 0 results for this program. It's there on startup if I end it, it seems to open itself up. Does anyone know what it is? It seems to just...
What are they mixing to do this?
sorry if this is a repost, search for marshmallow produced nothing.
*edit* oops...

*edit2*
ok, apparently some people are having problems...
Go here instead. It's the second one.
Just a thought....what percent of people can do this?
I'm right handed and I can move my right ear easy.... My left ear causes a little jaw movement when I try.
Yup. Saw it in a flier today. It's pretty much the regular thick burger but without the bun. It's called a "lettus wrapped burger"
I bet that's tasty. Sorry, no links...can't find it online anywhere.
I just got a call from a friend that said she thinks she got a virus from aol messanger, but doens't know the name and norton wasn't finding anything. Apparently it opened a lot of her programs at the same time and was "Moo"ing at her. I wasn't finding anything on quick google searches. Does...
skip right to the cliff notes:
buy >$75 worth of stuff
cashier rings up "free" $10 giftcard
get home, notice on the receipt, they CHARGED me for the gift card, it wasn't rung up as free
now I have to drive back 30 miles because of their stupidity...
Did the antitrust trial mean nothing? I thought they were supposed to separate these things...
From Cnet.
*edit* Link fixed.... I could have sworn I clicked on it to check it...
I have had terrible luck trying to clean my fitted baseball hats. They're made out of wool so putting them in the washer shrinks them. I've had one dry cleaned and that ruined (drycleaners paid for it). Putting it in one of the form things for the dishwasher deforms the brim. So, how do you...
Anyone ever buy anything from www.bhphotovideo.com? I can't seem to find anything on bizrate or any other rating site about it?
The reason I'm asking is I found the JBL PB-12 12" 250-Watts Down-Firing Powered Subwoofer for $220 with free shipping. Anywhere else it has a list price of $480...
Khypermedia
*edit* plus shipping?
How about this link?
*edit again* the email I got said Khypermedia but the link went to "Value Disk" are they the same?
Item number 20148519.
I bought the Netgear mr814 for my dad on July 30th. It was a nice deal $58 - $20 rebate = $38 shipped. I noticed yesterday that they lowered the price to $45 and the $20 rebate was still valid so it's $25 shipped. I figured, what the heck, I'll send an email asking for a refund of the...
I was asked this recently and got it right away. Apparently it was designed by a psychologist to be a riddle that serial killers usually answer correctly but "normal" people don't. Sorry if it's a repost, yes I searched.
*edit* Ok, the psychologist part is a hoax I guess. It's still an...
The card in question is a Visiontek Xtasy Geforce 4 Ti4200 128mb. Lately the fan on the card rattles, making a very annoying noise, and, I'm assuming, not cooling the card properly because it's not spinning like it should. It almose seems like it is off balance or something.
When I open the...
