Thanks for the responses guys. I've been super busy with work and sort of lost my steam with tinkering on this project. I may try some different distros with older/newer kernels in the near future.
Out of curiosity, is anyone here using a UEFI FW-based motherboard w/a 64-bit flavor of Linux...
Since I'm not on the command line much anymore at work I decided to add another small SSD to my main box @ home and dual boot Win7 + Linux - hadn't fully committed to any one distro yet.
I've run into a bit of a problem. In fact, my exact problem is described in this thread on the Ubuntu...
IMO Stronglifts is the best for noobs:
http://stronglifts.com/
Starting Strength is good as well but Stronglifts has video demo's for free and a ton of generally good stuff on the site.
I think the main issue is that relative to other classes, especially at high MP play, barbs are pretty far out in front. IMO you just need to buff other classes, not nerf barbs. Fun for everyone.
My WD hit P100 a few weeks ago so I made a wizard. Wow. What the hell was a I doing playing WD?
CM was just boring to me, so I've gone the Archon route. I made a video of a quick Keep Depths 2 + Rakkis Crossing I do. MP8. Hit me with a like or some feedback even if you think it sucks...
Hi guys-
I don't have time to post here much anymore, but I thought I'd share a tool I use to track my progress at the gym. It's an amalgamation of several different spreadsheets I've come across and has really helped me to continue to improve and track my fitness goals.
Who it's for...
D&G "The One"
Hugo Boss
Sean Jean - "I am King"
Really there are so many awesome smelling colognes these days it just depends on what you like.
Too bad the ones that are good actually are universally pretty expensive.
The surgery was extremely painful. I actually don't know if it was the hernia repair or the nissen's that was so painful, but I was hurting pretty bad for about a week.
That said, based on what I've read and what my doc's seen, my recovery has been very fast. I'm working out again and it's...
Update: I had a motility study and another EGD but this time with a Bravo pH probe. The results of the motility study were normal, and the results of the Bravo test proved I was having significant reflux, even though I didn't have a tremendous amount of erosion. He said that's typical of LPR...
What do you guys do when you've got 5 stacks of Nephalem Valor and run into an impassible situation? I've got 2 difficult packs camping the zone in of one of the caves 'old Zoltun's blood is in. Just log and lose the Valor buff? Already spent like 50k dying trying to kill em.... :(
I haven't yet but I definitely will. Laugh all you want. I laugh at people all the time and I'm sure I'm laughed at as well. I really enjoy this game, and I make decent money, so spending a little on something I enjoy isn't a big deal.
Also, gear definitely gives you an edge. Try later...
So I'm in Act 2 inferno, not that far in. It's difficult, but my WD build is pretty well suited to kiting so I haven't had to skip any packs yet. Until tonight. Is this the kind of thing you skip? I've spent about 20 deaths on it and am making no ground...
So you're speaking on behalf of "plenty of people" and have detailed knowledge of both their experience and level of threat protection?
And you choose to believe Blizzard with regard to the session hacking story, yet don't believe that hacks are occurring as a result of conventional means...
It's very difficult to do CF workouts in most regular chain gyms. I did it for a while, but you literally have to plan each workout to a T and go at off-hours in order to make sure no one takes your spot.
Stephen A. is fine. He's a blowhard but I don't mind him. Skip Bayless and Jim Gray are 2 guys in sports I'd be completely fine with never seeing again though.
Is Inferno fun? My WD is only lvl 52 and in Hell, and so far it's not that bad. Challenging but not maddening. Some of the posts I see about Inferno scare me though. I'm wondering if these people are that terrible of players or if it really is that hard. Or maybe a little of both...
Probably so. The problem with telcos and public utilities in general is in most cases you're stuck with whatever they're offering. Broadband is a little different in that most of us have a few different options, but it's largely a function of where you live.
It's like electricity. What're...
R.A. The Rugged Man “Uncommon Valor” - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGZsGX3B_BY
I haven’t been listening to much hip hop lately, but I’m going to check the stuff in this thread when I get home.
Last 3 main events:
Zombie vs. Poirer is areguably the fight of the year
Diaz subbing Miller was a fantastic fight
Jones vs. Rashad wasn't bad - just no fireworks
I dunno man I wouldn't call any of the last 3 main events snoozefests.
Dos Santos will KO Mir in the 1st round. This is a...
The Decision is why everyone hates him.
I personally love watching him play. He's probably one of a few guys I'll tune in to watch no matter who they're playing.
As a guy, I'm not sure how I feel about him. I don't know him, but I do know some of the things he says in the media are pretty...
Crazy why? Blizzard hyped the living shit out of this game and now they've followed up the hype by laying a steaming turd.

If anyone has the cash and experience to plan for a launch you'd think it'd be Blizzard.
IMO it's pretty unlikely these problems now are related to insufficient resources. There's something else going on, I'm betting it's something security-related.
From a PR perspective I don't think this launch could have gone any worse.
The only thing I can imagine is there's some sort of massive security hole. If it's infrastructure-related that's just pathetic. It's not like Blizz doesn't have the resources to shore up a massive amount of hardware...
Blizzard could spend a lot of $$$ and massively overshoot the infrastructure needs to meet demand @ launch day, but they never will. They don't need to; they already have your money. People want to play and they'll just wait and keep trying to login. If the problem is indeed just a case of...
They don't have enough revenue and didn't have enough time to plan for the launch.
I mean, come on, they only have like a trillion dollars and 10 years.
My ENT doc is sending me to a different gastro and also a pulmonologist. He thinks I need to be checked for adult-onset asthma.
I wonder if all my symptoms, especially the shortness of breath and pain, are a function of my hiatal hernia much more than reflux. I saw one post about a guy who...
I'm at the point where almost any amount of risk is worth it. I wasn't exaggerating when I said I can relate to the person who said in another forum that this disease made them wish for death. The constant discomfort is torture. It literally feels like acid is getting IN my airway at times...

To make a very very long (13 years) story short(er), I'm tired of being on (PPI) meds that don't or barely work, and lifestyle changes have done nothing for me. I have a doc's appointment tomorrow and I'm going to ask...
I used a comparative search engine and went with the lowest quote from a name I recognized - ING. They sent a nurse out to weigh me and take blood, etc. Got the lowest rate. It's really cheap. Like $175 a year I think for $350k coverage.
