The Narrows is a fun hike (it's up the river). It's trail head is at the final bus stop. There are a few outfitter companies in town that will get you all kitted out (waders, boots, walking stick, information, etc).
I've also done the hike up to Observation Point, and along the way you can do...
I've got alcantara in my 2011 S4, it still looks great. I don't know how it lasts compared to the leather.
The one nice thing about the alcantara is that it doesn't get super hot like leather does if the car is sitting outside in the sun all day. Likewise, it doesn't feel as cold during...
I think you'll see the next 5D before we see a 6D refresh (5D Mark III is slightly older than the 6D). I know there were a lot of people hoping for a 5D model announcement at Photokina this year, but the new 7D was all that was announced.
From what I read, HBO gets about $7 per subscriber from TV providers. So, I'm thinking HBO will charge $10-15 per month.
If it's anything $15/month or less, I won't be able to drop my cable subscription fast enough.
If you read Jalopnik at all, you are probably familiar with Doug DeMuro and his Carmax-warrantied Land Rover.

The final paragraph is most telling:
First off ... that site estimates 0-60 times using some formula. It says to input HP using HP at the flywheel (not necessary advertised horsepower, since we know manufacturer's measure HP differently).
Secondly, if you click the "estimated time" link under the 5.96 seconds, you'll see that the...
I've only seen the Leftovers (out of the options in the list). I'm enjoying it thus far and I am really hoping this doesn't turn out like "John from Cincinnati".
I own both the D7100 and D610, and tend to shoot many of the same subjects as the OP. If I were starting from scratch, I'd probably start my search with a FF mirrorless like the Sony A7R. That's probably a lot more reasonable to travel/hike with than a gripped D610 and a couple of lenses...
Here is a page that shows his contract and how the cap hit is calculated.

Short story: base salary + pro-rated bonus + other bonuses
What tires does he have on the Altima? Tires and driver skill are bigger indicators of winter performance than which car one drives.
If he's set on a new car, can't beat an AWD Subaru (multiple options under $25k) for winter capabilities (with appropriate rubber). Impreza, Legacy, and Outback...
I've got 3. I use them for the rewards, and I never carry a balance.
Starwood AMEX is my main card.
Southwest Airlines Chase Visa for any place that doesn't accept AMEX.
Also have a Capital One cashback card, but hardly ever use it.
Put anything on the C63 AMG and the price rises quite quickly too! :) (I changed the color and added the Navigation package and it came out to $70k).
I only mentioned price, but I should have also mentioned power. 451hp is a good chunk more than the 335i/S4. Between price and power, I don't...
C63 AMG is considerably higher than the 335i/S4.
C63 AMG starts at $63k
S4 starts at $48k.
335i starts at $43k.
I agree with the rest of your post. S4 is the EVO for grownups.
I believe I read someplace that there is a 30% accuracy penalty when you have the LMG in fully-auto mode. When I switched it to a 3-round burst mode, it seemed considerably better.
Edit: Nevermind, I had a muzzle brake on, which reduces the accuracy by 30% with automatic fire mode.
Had it done a couple years ago. Still at 20/15. Best money I've ever spent.
With that said, I was as close to an ideal candidate for it. Listen to your optometrists recommendations.
I just purchased a Fractal Design Define Mini a couple weeks ago.
The system has a i7-2600k (OC'ed to 4.5ghz), 2x HD6950's in crossfire ... so there are a few things giving off a good amount of heat. Right now, I'm using 4x 120mm fans (intake on front and side panel, exhaust on rear and top...
The only work I've had done was the 35k maintenance and replacing a wheel bearing. Audicare took care of the maintenance, and the wheel bearing was replaced under warranty (I'm still under the factory 4 year/50k mile warranty). So, very smooth experience thus far.
The warranty process...
Any specific questions regarding CPO Audi's? I just bought my CPO S4 (2011) back in January).
Not sure dealerships would ship a CPO car to another dealer (unless it was the same company), since the dealer typically has to put a bit of money into the car as part of the CPO certification. On...
I was helping out at the autocross school (picking up all those cones in the slalom!). During the mini event in the afternoon, I was out by the main road, preventing people from entering the parking lot from the front. When I saw your car out there, it took me a couple minutes to remember...
You could get a regular CTS wagon with AWD. Sure, it doesn't have 550hp, but it would be able to handle winter quite easily (with a good set of winter tires).
I'd go for the ST3 ...
As much as I dislike the MyTouch system in the ST3, you'll get you money back when it comes time to trade in/sell the car.
Really, either is fine as long as they come with those excellent Recaro seats!
I'd choose any other than the V6 Mustang. Having rented one last month, it is plagued by a horrendous automatic transmission that will do nothing but frustrate the hell out of you.
Edit: bit confused now that I've re-read your post ... is the Mustang the V6 as indicated in your poll, or GT as...
Watching a lot of food network. Watching shows like Good Eats, you really pick up on concepts and techniques, which are far more valuable than individual recipes.
Also, cooking with my mother and/or grandmother and learning some of their dishes.
I thought I read someplace (Autoblog maybe), that it was the 428i xDrive was the only trim level that didn't have the option of a manual transmission, with the base 428i still available with a manual. But, I don't see that option in the configurator either.
