Have you done any scans for malware?
You can also try booting into Safe Mode with Networking by pressing F8 before the Windows splashscreen at boot up and do your malware scans in this mode.
From my experience with some Farm management software: most of them use SQL express to store information in a database. Your best bet is to try and find out what version it was and contact the vendor for help.
Each person would have their own Office 365 account. The shared files would basically be in SharePoint Online. Each user would have their own OneDrive storage where they can store their individual files. SharePoint Online starts at 10GB of storage I believe for Office 365 Business Essentials...
I would go with a MacBook. You can run Windows, Linux, and OS X. If portability is what you want, go with an Air. If power is what you want, go with a Pro.
I would definitely check with your University or a current student in the major at that University to see what requirements there are...
The bolded is what part of the problem is. Ask the people on the receiving end just how "silly" a death or rape threat is. Especially when they tweet out your home address.
Square Register. https://squareup.com/register
It's the only one I've seen. I don't use the register part of the app but use the reader for accepting credit cards for services. Works very well from my viewpoint and the fee per swipe is cheaper than working with a company that rents you...

I second the OneNote suggestion, though to me it sounds like custom templates would also do the job.
Cook pretty much said they announced it before release so that developers could get their hands on the development kit and start making apps ready for release.

You can look in the advanced Power Options, although those do not work sometimes i.e.: unchecking the allow the computer to power this device off option.
You'll probably want to look at whatever software came with your hard drive from the manufacturer, they sometimes have options in there for...
If you are going from a platter to a SSD, IMO a clean install of Windows is better. Windows 7 and up will recognize it's being installed on an SSD and optimize the install.
If you do plan to roll your own, you also need to get reverse DNS setup on whatever public IP address you use. Then you also get to have fun with all of the different Blacklists that decide to blacklist you for whatever reason. You would also want to get some type of spam filtering to put in...
