Trying to reinstall Windows 7 on a Dell l502x. It is asking for drivers? An apparent fix is to use usb 2.0 but this machine doesn't have any. Also the DVD drive is busted. Any other way to install?
Anyone else having issues? It actually crashes my system sometimes. Thinking of returning this GTX 780 and going back to the inferior Radeon cards and their drivers...
Does your board have any auto overclocks? If so, you can let it do its thing and see what settings are changed. You can then set it back and manually change.
Most likely you will change the multiplier on the CPU first.
How many case fans do you have? Typically, if using only one fan, it is arranged to exhaust air out of the case, thus allowing makeup air to flow into the case through available vents. Some use multiple case fans to exhaust and supply air through the case.

As far as your issue, upon updating my driver since 12.8 I believe, when the update completes my monitor is black, but my system appears to be running fine. I reboot and everything is normal. I am not sure why this occurs. Could be some sort of BIOS conflict.
Just got my A8-5600k based HTPC up and running. By default, the ASRock Extreme4-M is feeding it 512 MB. I figure at least another 1/2 gig, but I have 8 GB of 2133 RAM, so I can easily afford to feed it 2 GB.
Anyone have personal experience?
No not at all. The system is fine. The action in the game is continuing around me, but its as if I cannot move or also can move but not fire the weapon.
Recently during a specific game (FPS black ops), at times I will be stuck and not able to move. At first I thought I had a graphics issue, but Im not sure now.
Anyone have ideas?
I made the mistake of updating from 12.8 to 12.10. My system hasnt been much different when playing BF3, but black ops (first one) has been terrible. Seems odd, my system specs are more than enough for the game and it was butter since I built the system. The graphics are nice looking, crystal...
I am loooking for a good game we can play on my HTPC that we can play together. Maybe a network game two be played between 2 systems.
Very broad/vague, but I am open to all ideas.
I guess I should not assume things - I though for sure I had .net4 framework installed like AMD mentioned for this driver. Im going to install and see how the driver is after.
I went to install the latest driver and in the middle of the process, my screen went blank** I assumed it would go blank and ***e back but it never did** I tried 3 times and had to hard reset each time** The system is not crashed as I could hear sounds, but the display never appeared**...
I installed the latest 12**10 driver and my system is pretty poor performing as well** I have a single 6870** In Black Ops my system lags often** This system has been smooth as butter with all other drivers in the past 2 years**
This is such a joke!
Remember - that boards interface is probably Sata II at best. Unless you pick up a real cheap SSD, it may not be worth it over memory/cpu upgrade. I threw a SSD in a netbook less than 2 years old and was not impressed with the minimal speed increase over the modern spinner it replaced. I even...
I have a 2500k myself. I dont see any point in upgrading to an IB. If I was building a second Intel system from new components, I would choose the newest technology (IB) as long as price wasnt the most important factor.
Looking to setup my house for internet access. I have a main/gaming rig and HTPC that I hard wire and my gf requires wireless access for internet/school etc.
I have Turbo from TimeWarner - 20 mbps
What is my best route? Wireless N router - hardwire items through this?
Benefit of gigabit switch?
