In the overall preferences, I have CPU set to no, Nvidia GPU yes (dont have any ATI so doesnt matter for me).
Then under projects, I have both GPU & CPU selected for PPS seive.
What I found was, that with CPU selected for the overall project, it will select something if you select...
Reported and updated one of my rigs, HOWEVER, they seemed to have vanished. Not showing reported on their end. Hopefully the user pages havent updated yet. I will not be a happy camper if they all went to the ether.
While waiting for correlizer to bring itself back from the dead, everyone is invited to join in on the Primegrid race. The TeAm has been doing fairly well with a handfull of crunchers, but it would be nice to crack the top 5. :)
Thanks for the stats.
Interestingly enough, switching E@H to just GPU while adding correlizer doesnt seem to affect my E@H production very much. Looks like a nice combo to run.
Absolutely.
You could have one rig doing projects A, B & C, with another doing X, Y & Z. Just attached to whatever projects you want to run on each box.
I'm sure Ken will correct me if I'm wrong, but as long as you return the result within the challenge window and it validates as "valid" against the other results, then you should get points for it.
It did. It smelled hot, not burnt. Computer is back up and running. It did not revive itself (power supply) after the trip to microcenter and back. So now to deal with OCZs RMA process. At least nothing appears to be dead.
Good luck, bad luck or both, I'm not sure. About 3 hours after the race ended, my power supply in my main rig gave up the ghost. Just a click and everything went dark.
Thankfully, I've got a Microcenter close by, new PS in place and up and running again.
I think it simply...
A good number of those are bogus invalid results. The first real ones should start showing up anytime now though.
For me, my best ones are a little over 63% at this point.
For me it's really pushing the spirit of the challenges.
However, it's really no different than someone borg'ing all the computers at their office/school/etc.
Can't believe all the peeps getting all bent out of shape on the status of the server. My boxes will get what they get and crunch what they crunch. Got better things to do with my time than to sit around and worry about it. :D
Interesting. I did not know that. The 570 doesn't suffer from that issue does it?
Here is the 570 I'm leaning towards. http://www.microcenter.com/single_pr...uct_id=0363755
$299 after rebate.
Always a little cautious about reconditioned electronics, especially stuff with moving parts.
Time to shuffle some video cards around.
To be retired - 9500gt, getting replaced by GTX260. The GTX260 will be replaced by...
Either a GTX 560ti or a GTX570.
So to all of you, is the 570 and its extra 96 stream processors (along with faster other bits) worth the approx $100 price...
Thanks for pointing towards that thread. I had thought I seen something before, that must have been it. Going back through it though, there doesn't seem to be much with the 5xx line. Lots of stuff scatter throughout as well. Would be nice to have a simple little graph. :)
Not here. :( Just a GTX260 and a very tired gt9500. :'(
Not to sidetrack too much, but the most important factor in cuda crunching is the number of stream processors correct? Would be nice if there was some benchmarks somewhere that compares cuda crunch times.
