I picked up the 545s for my new Intel NUC from Microcenter since they had it on sale... Dunno why, but I still use the Intel G2&G3 drives in my rigs. They're low on storage, speed not the best, but who cares. Works stable for years.
I have learned long ago about Nexus devices being half baked.
Nexus 4 - Great device coming from the Samsung Galaxy SII. Really changed my view about the stock android.
Nexus 5 - Just a meh device that couldn't get into it. Popping speaker, unpleasant hand feel.
2013 Moto X - Best device...
I am also the 2013 Moto X user. Unfortunately, the battery has been acting up since the July and the phone became unusable. I've been running it for almost 3 years..
I've purchased the Nexus 6p since then and already put it for sale. The size is just not for me.. I've been eyeing the OnePlus 3...
I agree with you. I don't like my 6p either. It's too damn big and such a basic phone. Too much of a hassle to carry around in a pocket. It's only good laying on the desk and watching videos.
The smaller Pixel looks like a good phone, but definitely not paying such a premium price for it. I...
I am going to say the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy SII. First smartphone and first disappointment. Lagged out of the box, archaic touchwiz, etc. Received one update, but I rooted and played with different roms anyways. The build quality was very good, though.
Bought the Nexus 4 later on and it was...
The Nexus 6 is a better phone. Faster performance, better build quality, better speakers, stronger vibrator, amoled screen. The 5X advantages are better camera, fp scanner, and size factor if you favor a smaller phone.
All I can say that the 5X is below the Moto E in terms of build quality. It is also below the Moto Nexus 6 in every possible way. I returned the phone. The performance simply sucked compared to a Moto Nexus 6. The 5X might be one of the worst Nexus phones.
I had the XPS 13 i3/4GB model. The battery life and the build quality were the best thing about it.
Note: One thing to consider when spending closer to a $1k for a laptop that mostly likely you would want a touch screen, even though you hardly use it. After using a SP4 for a while I would not...
For browsing and email I would recommend a Chromebook.
That particular XPS is a good laptop. It will have a good battery life. I haven't done a research on a price, but seems like a good deal.
I have a Broadwell XPS 13 basic config. It performs just fine. I don't see any hiccups doing daily tasks. I even watch 1080p movies on it. I usually have no more than 10 tabs opened, but more than that will eat the RAM quickly. The Edge browser also performs faster than Chrome. The XPS basic...
Yeah, pretty much this. It doesn't make sense to buy a phone for the resale value. Technically the resale value won't matter unless you're going to sell it after three months or so. You'll loose money on it no matter what. It will become a disposable device.
$399 is still a better buy than the Nexus 5X. You get a better build quality, probably a more efficient cpu, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, Gorilla Glass 4, quick charge, prolly better speakers, microSD. The only concern is the camera. The Nexus 5X is knock off device.
I don't see the point of the Project FI, IMO. I am on T-Mobile with 10GB data and it costs $30/month with free music streaming. Talking about that on stupid FI. Unless you're sitting always on wifi, need sprint reception then maybe it's for you. But then what's the point of the high end device...
The 5X provides a terrible value. It's a $400 phone after taxes.. Unless you need that fingerprint get the Moto G is a superb phone for the money. I would even get the Moto X Pure instead of the 5X.
I have recently purchased a netbook with the Windows 8.1 and I am impressed. I also have a desktop with the Win 7.
The system is pretty smooth. I don't see the problem with the start button. The home screen is useful, I mostly hit Chrome or something else. The built in apps OneDrive, OneNote...
One of the XPS disappointments that it doesn't come with the PCIe SSD as the Macbook Air. If it doesn't support, I will sell it and get skylake with all the latest goodies once it hits the market. Dell pretty much never releases a flawless product. Revisions and batches fix their issues... I...
Wanted to get the Z3 compact for some time, but hard to justify the price. The 2014 Moto X can be had for a lot less and its a superb phone. Also the warranty is questionable, you most likely end up with a refurb or wait weeks for repair. That's not a good warranty for the price, even if the...
They need to improve their coverage.
Yesterday I went into a restaurant and the area has a good LTE coverage, but once I went inside I got the poor E, no data whatsoever.
My gf is on my head to get her the iphone 6 and won't leave me alone. She hates her 5 and tells me its pos, and I tell her it's time for the Moto X and no way around, but she disagrees.. So, where is the breaking point?
$199 off contract would be reasonable for this type of phone. Its not an Android, some sort of hybrid if you ask me, and how Amazon could have had priced at $649 off contract is beyond my knowledge.
