one thing that i was thinking about for a while but i did not know how to fix was posibly the onboard gpu interfearing with the card because the drivers were similar? since my onboard is an ati as was my other video card, but that was just a guess i think i read something about some people...
i was having an issue with my videocard reseting while playing games and i would get the "driver has failed and has recovered etc" error in my log, first i replaced the powersupply with something better and that didnt fix it then i replaced the card itself and that did fix it.
heres the thing...
i ran the powersupply test for an hour with that program didnt get any problems guess il do the memory one tonight before i goto bed and if i get nothing il assume the card needs to be changed, thats kind of what i am leaning toward right now since i am not getting the error with this old shity...
yea i guess that could be, one thing that sucks about shotgunning parts into a computer is alot of places wont let you return stuff and if they do they charge a restocking fee...
the big problem that i am seeing when im looking at cards on compusa website is that the better nvida cards are like...
i changed my video card to an old nvidia one i had lying around and it seemed to fix the problem, my question is do you think the problem was the card itself or the ati drivers?
going to buy a new card later this week and wondering cus if its the drivers i obviously wont get another ati card...
well i have stoped the problem to an extent , it turned out by simply unchecking a box in catalyst it overclocked itself so i fixed that and it doesnt seem to be happening nearly as much but it has happaned a couple times since ive done this

for whatever reason the post i put in with my specs in it does not seem to be coming up
could this be caused by my power supply being to small? i mean i would not think so because i have not had any other issues and i would think something more major would happen.
i posted a big one with my system specs said it had to wait for a mod or something so when that comes up people can see that and lmk if they see any problems there.
one thing i thought was weird is i was able to run 3dmark06 and heaven benchmark without getting the error , i get the error when im in actual games like wow and mw2

the problem im having may have nothing to do with my cpu but...
