I'm not sure those things you list are what the author means by "hammer jobs." Framing is not hammering. I think he's thinking more of extremely basic assembly-line type jobs.
How about the XML files in C:\Windows\Performance\WinSAT\DataStore?
Those are generated by the Windows Experience Index thing. I'm running Ultimate and all of the files from the most recent running of WEI on my system have this line:
<ProductName>Windows 7 Ultimate</ProductName>
I'm wondering if this would really make abortion equivalent to murder. Depending on the method, you're not so much killing the embryo as you are removing it from life support - at which point it dies. Is removing someone from life support considered murder in Mississippi? I've been looking...
If I rig a phone call to burn my house down, put the number on the do not call list, then a telemarketer calls it, can I sue them for burning my house down?
I asked Cleverbot, which is kind of like Siri, and it said:
The old Microsoft Gadget gallery is gone.

I think the "richer set of opportunities" they are referring to is Windows 8 Metro Apps and the Windows 8 App Store.
You're not by any chance running Vista Home Basic are you? Even in 64-bit it caps the usable memory at 8GB which you're right up against.
Also, can we get more detailed specs on your PC? I'm curious about your 18GB of RAM. Typically you would either have 16GB or 24GB. Which is not to say that...
I think you're in uncharted territory. It brings up some questions that I can't test as my test server has crapped out on me:
1. What if you were to start a remote desktop session (or maybe use the terminal services command line stuff) locally to login to the second user's account while...
For the person physically using the desktop, this method for XP still works on 2008:

For the remote desktop, I think all you have to do is check the "save my password" or "save my credentials" box when you login the first time.
I haven't tried either...
AFAIK the Alpine White was a rebranded Milkybar or Galak bar both of which are still being made and sold in other countries.

Will you trade gold for one of those?
The notice itself probably tells him what to do next.
It probably consits of:
1. paying the ticket (which he already did)
2. making sure PA notifies his state that the ticket has been paid (which they probably do automatically but it might take weeks to process)
3. going to the dmv and...

One week to go...ugh. Why couldn't the world end on a Monday? At least give us a weekend before the end.

You can do it with the output workspace in Bridge. I think it's pretty straight forward once you have that up. You select all the images you want included in the content panel. You may need to tweak some of the settings in the output panel. Then scroll to the bottom of the panel and click "save."
The easiest way is to edit the files in Windows\Performance\WinSAT\DataStore :D
I'm not sure it's actually possible to get a 7.9. And because you can "hack" the scores so easily it's really hard to track down if anyone has actually done it. Most serious benchmarking sites don't seem to hold...
Where did it all go wrong?

Looking at that, it seems like Medicare & Medicaid are slowly bankrupting us. There are other things that could be argued should be cut (defense spending stands out to me). But when those two programs costs started to...

Can you check some of your Internet Options?
General Tab -> Browsing History -> Settings -> What is the "Check for newer versions of stored pages:" setting set to, and what is the "Current Location" of your temporary internet files folder?
Privacy Tab -> What is the slider at the top set to...
That is 49 separate browser windows all sharing the same process and not just 49 tabs.
The limit on GDI objects is 10000 and each new window seems to take up around ~200 GDI objects in IE7 & IE9. Hence the limit of ~49 windows. New tabs in IE9 seem to only use ~6 GDI objects on my PC.
So...
There are 240 other lifeboats and 178 of them manage to fit more people in less space than we do. I'm looking at some of those 178 lifeboats and some of them are really shitty lifeboats and are nowhere near as magnificent as our great nation lifeboat. And they haven't sank yet - some of them are...

The sum of what you said here is "justice (in the case of our current naturaltization laws) is inhumane." I don't think anyone is suggesting we ingore the laws, I think they're suggesting we fix them.
Your number was the arbitrary one. Their number was the ridiculous one.
And also, it's not MSN, it's the Daily Caller (founded by journalist and political pundit Tucker Carlson a conservative commentator for the Fox News Channel, and Neil Patel a former adviser to former Vice President Dick...
It works in 7. (And also in XP if you run the vista sidebar - there's a hacky method for doing so posted up around the interwebs.)
The only real problem I've run into with the gadget is under 7-64 bit. The gadget needs flash to run and the sidebar is 64 bit and can't run the 32 bit flash most...
