I'm seeing 20's mixed. I'm in a rural area, so I don't do any heavy city stop & go driving. But, the few visits to bigger towns I still see around 18-19 mpg. Highway really depends on speed. At 60, high 20's isn't uncommon. But, 70mph+ and you're at the rated 23-24mpg.
For it's size and...
We have an '07 Acadia. I really like it. But, I wanted/needed the extra row. I think if we didn't need it, the new Jeep Grand Cherokee was very tempting. I would love to test drive one. And isn't there an SRT-8 Version? That would be fun lol
My gosh. The cars you can get for the money is crazy now. Just look back 10 years ago. 15 years ago. If you're not a brand fanboy, you have so many options of high HP cars out there! I love it. Wish I had the money for one though!
The cars are less than 4 ft. apart. Don't expect full side view shots. And any more than that in a shot is going to show of a cluttered background with people, buildings, trees, and other cars.
That's my son, and the girl is from one of the club members. So, that was the first time they met. Good to meet new friends. :-) It's a very family friendly club, which is good.
Went to a local thing in Panama City, FL called Friday Fest. I've been talking with one of the clubs to shoot their events for them. Here's what I shot.
My question is, what are all of you doing with this thing? And even the iPhones for that matter? Everyone around me uses these high dollar phones and tablets for maybe 2 or 3 individual functions. Yet somehow, they can't live without it. And, I'm some sort of caveman for not having one.
Yet...
My dad has been working on watches for over 25 years. I've been working with him for 4 years. Tags are a joke. But, their business practices are even worse than the watches.
I'm really tired of AT&T.
We're paying $32.95 for a 1.5mb DSL connection. 85% of the time it's 1.2MB and the rest of the time it's slower than that, as low as half a MB.
$65 for Local & Long Distance.
We don't have any cell phones.
I'm really thinking about dropping all the land...
This all depends on YOU. What YOU want from a camera/camera phone. And what YOU are capable of getting out of a camera/camera phone. For me, I can't compare the two.
I shot this in 2008 with a Canon A80 that I found on eBay for $30. A little bit of PP'ing and what do you think?
I...
Take a BMW to get it fixed. And then take a Grand Am(Any "series') to get it fixed.
I had an L32 In my Grand Prix GTP. It was a "Series III." It added an electronic throttle body, different head design, and a more efficient Supercharger. I'll gladly take that upgrade, even in a two year...
I've been going back through all my stuff and organizing. Decided to try messing around with them since I have much more experience in photoshop since taking these.
These were all taken with a Rebel XT and various lenses, From a 28-105mm, 10-22mm, to a Sigma 30mm
Thanks. I sold it while on a deployment. Sadly, the only news I ever heard after that was from a few high school friends. They said they saw it parked at a house about an hour away. With one side destroyed. Looked like it got into a guard rail. I haven't seen it to confirm it was my car...
I drove this car during highschool. 1999-2002. And a fews years after that while in A school and on leave while in the Navy. Sadly it's gone now.
This was in 2004 before I ever had a DSLR.
Camera was a Sony DSC-P72

PS:
I think this car is a good thing. Look at it as the cheap fun cars of years ago. And then if the aftermarket gets a hold of it. You could see a lot of these around making tons of power, with very little investment. A perfect recipe for gearheads.
The price has dropped so much since they came out, it's just the best bang for the buck hands down. You need to compare the differences in the S100 for yourself and see if they're worth it to you. For most, the S95 is the best choice. And you'll be very pleased with it.
I'll 3rd the S95. I have one. And I have a 5D2. The S95 performs so well and can fit in ur pocket. However, I didn't want to give up much in IQ when I did get a P&S. The S95 fits the bill nicely.
There are plenty of lenses that different people will call "too expensive." It's the same with any product. You pay for the name, the bump in quality(no matter how small, and the fact that you have it and not many others do. A lot of people will be happy with an original 24-70mm. I plan on...
My mother-in-law asked us if we sent her something via email. I had no clue what she was talking about.
We go into my wifes email and find a message failed email because one of her contacts closed her account. Also, it was sent to multiple contacts. I think even twice. Otherwise, there...
Steve, your pics are great. And compared to around here, they blow away a lot of the work you can find here. Sadly, the economy here is crap. Working with my dad in the jewelry business isn't any easier of course. I'm trying to break into photography here, but it's gonna take time as well...
Not a lot of consumers know where to get high quality prints done. They don't care. They don't want to. They are paying for the photographers time and knowledge to get them high quality prints. When someone gets paid, it's not just for 1 or 2 things.
I get the same thing here at work with...
I need a saw bad. I live on 7 acres and I have tons of trees I'd like to cut. I refuse to get a cheapo version no matter how tempting the prices are. wish I could find a good brand like that and fix it up. Will probably outlast a cheapo one that's built today.
Haha, no problem. I know my head looks bad, especially at that angle. That shot is one of the worst. And clearly shows that she has no clue how to use individual focus points. She drove up in a Land Rover. Wearing running shorts and a T-shirt. I think she had the money to blow on a 7D and...
Exactly. And no, it's not your screen. The color saturation is off the charts. Focus point is the feet for sure. And at f/1.2, makes the image a waste. Any of these in print are useless. I've printed a few of them and I get sick looking at them. I don't consider this a "style" either.
Are there any PC games out there similar to ICO or Shadow of the Colossus. Both PS2 games?
I'm not a big gamer besides racing games like Gran Turismo. But, the 2 games mentioned above I really enjoyed.
I just upgraded my Q6600 machine. It has an 8800GS Alpha Dog video card, Windows 7...
I agree. I didn't look into it. But, the list of links you see are all the photos that came on the CD. That's all we got. I wonder how bad the rest of the shots were that didn't make the cut. :\
Wow. This is a lot of talk over something very simple. You do something that you're not supposed to do. You go bye-bye. How hard is that? We're not preschool kids here.
Most 2WD trucks are worthless in a poor traction situation. Low weight, combined with open diff, usually means you're not going anywhere. We went up to N. Carolina last year. Took the Grand Prix(FWD) and parents had a Trailblazer. They didn't move that truck for the first 2 days we were...
I didn't look into it. Wife chose her. I should've done my homework. But, I didn't think someone who had no clue how to use nice gear would be getting paid by anyone. Much less 2,100+ likes. It's all over now, and I don't really expect anything now.
I wouldn't buy these. They're cheap plastic model kits put together in a mediocre fashion at best. What would you pay for a chinese plastic toy, hand painted by some guy you don't know? Probably not much, or at all either.
