EDITED: Bikers - school me on bike info, also looking for a baby seat to put on it - BIKE PURCHASED

I didn't. Who reads posts. Scan, make snarky comments. Still no reason to be a dick.

EDITED: Bikers - school me on bike info, also looking for a baby seat to put on it - BIKE PURCHASED

Que up the "$500 PFT go to wal-mart cheap ass" posts. Do you really want a baby "seat" or one of the tow behind things. I couldn't imagine having a baby riding in a seat on a bike and the endless possibilities of falling over and whatnot.

200-400k to spend. On Land. In Continental US

I mean if you go way TF off grid you can probably get what you want there. Here in South Dakota land outside of city limits can't be any less than 5 acres (might be a county ordinance) and I've looked at a couple places that are far enough out that "nobody cares" but close enough that I have...

How a family spends away $500K per year

This. According to the 2016 rates, they are over paying by a tremendous amount. Also, $400/child/week in daycare? There's a difference between "a place that cares for your kids" and "THE place that everyone else goes to that cares for your kids". LOL $1000 worth of "something always comes...

Our bathrooms have always been "gender neutral" whatever that means and all, and women are just as messy and smelly as men.

    The 2020 Presidential Election

I didn't say he'd win, I intentionally led off with "I'd vote for..." Oprah is a lock though. Can't wait for her to give away my paycheck.

What the hell is going on with the price of milk?

There's a ridiculous amount of waste in the sale of milk also. $4.62 for a gallon of whole that I bought today.

Goodbye Sears? Sears acknowledges that they may no longer be a "going concern".

It's not really that, it's that I don't know what I'm doing and would rather not fuck things up. Then I have to dispose of the oil. It's really just not worth my time. If it was a $200 mower, maybe. I do DIY most things that don't have engines though.

Goodbye Sears? Sears acknowledges that they may no longer be a "going concern".

Not worth it on a $100 push mower. They are like printers. If I get more than 2 years out of it, I got my money's worth. In this case $10/yr to mow and still going.

Goodbye Sears? Sears acknowledges that they may no longer be a "going concern".

My mower is a craftsman. It fires up first pull every time even after winter and I have done nothing to it other than change the blade in the 10 years I've owned it. That said, it's really just a briggs engine on a metal platform, so it's not like "Craftsman" did much there.

I've tried to pull this off at like conventions, but I always feel like I look stupid. So, I wear the dress shoes and my feet hurt at the end of the convention.

Yeah. Penny's was 1 of 3 remaining anchor stores in our mall, which is damn near dead. It's a huge chunk of property.

    Ash vs Evil Dead **reminder**

There's 2 seasons? I really like Evil Dead and Army of Darkness, but I made it 3 episodes in and was done with this show. Really surprised the "cult following" was enough to get it a second season.

Any daily use items items you don't cheap out on?

My trash can has a lid. I take it out when it is full or when it stinks. When I take my garbage can to the street every week it usually has 1 sometimes 2 bags in it.

When you resign for a better job but can't disclose info about your next job.

This is true, but what makes them dis-loyal? Maybe she has a better opportunity? Blanket assuming an employee is disloyal is pretty douchey of an employer. Maybe the employer should be a better employer to retain employees.

None of their business. It might also hurt you if you are leaving to a competitor. We hired away a lady from a competing company and she gave them 3 weeks notice to the end of the month (we had no immediate need for her) and the second they found out she was going to us they walked her out...

Any daily use items items you don't cheap out on?

No idea. I spend the money on the "Force Flex Tall Kitchen bags" because they hold tight to the garbage can. We use maybe 2 a week. But I've been disappointed with cheap bags that just don't hold tight to the can and end up falling in, then I get pissed.

Any daily use items items you don't cheap out on?

Trash bags I guess, and asswipe. Paper towels are just glorified napkins, they aren't made to clean up messes, so we buy the wal-mart 6 pack cheap rolls. Food stuff I generally don't buy generic, except for cereal for the child it's all sugar coated who gives a fuck anyway. I wish I could get...

I can't go full on 10/10 but it was definitely a high 8 or 9. I went into it thinking it wasn't going to be all that good, but very impressed with the whole thing. It actually had that feel of old historic Disney movies like Little Mermaid. I think I liked it more than my son did really.

EDIT: Nevermind, I need to stop arguing with far left nut bags. They never have an actual argument and it's like having a discussion with a wall.

When is it worth getting a roommate?

When you get done saying "Fuck 99% of the country I only like two places" that's literally regressive minded thinking. If you can't flip your narrative around and be OK with someone else saying it then what you are saying is regressive.

How much do you spend on vacations in a year and where do you go?

We can't really afford travel. The wife and son have a camping trip they go on every year (actually a cabin). I go and visit for a couple of the days. I'm not big on experiences. I get it, some people are into that kind of thing, I'm just not that kind of person.
