Dang, I suppose there are a couple of basic suggestions (Though you probably tried them). Verify the settings on the hard drive - Slave, Master, etc. and make sure a valid option is chosen. Clear BIOS on the board using the jumper to clear it. Use a different IDE channel in the motheboard.
