Can't you plug the comp into the laptop and then bridge connections?

The DS3L has been going in and out of stock like mad, it's out of stock at Newegg and Zipzoomfly now.

You can always use a wireless repeater half way across the house if you don't get a good signal.

So the best rated wireless card on new egg is this, EDIMAX EW-7128G. But I also notice that there are much cheaper cards with relatively the same specs, like this GIGABYTE GN-WP01GS, this Zonet ZEW1602A, and this ASUS WL-138g. My question is, what am I losing by getting the cheaper card...
