how did you mount it with the brackets? -- onto the hsf itself.

Does this fan not actually work with this heatsink ? Not only that but it appear to have a plug that is not compatible with the slot on the videocard... is this a problem too? Am I missing something? this is the scythe model # SY1025SL12H thanks in advance...

That's an interesting recommendation. Is there a problem with running low-watt power supplies at the upper-end of their rating for an extended (say, 3 years) period of time? Obviously, the reviews don't have access to that information.

bump. My HS850 is great. I use it with my v710 and its super. Hope that helps, battery life is virtually unlimited since you can just close it..., it's comfortable and lightweight... all of the things you could hope for, I did, and it did not disappoint.

my 520w powerstream has all the connections in the world (definitely including 24pin and pci-e) but i believe older ones don't come with this connection... (and it's great, another vote for it)
