Didn't try the other one, 1_1, its rather occluded by the GD video card. I did try the x8/x4_2 and 1_2. I have a raid card in the x4_3 slot, if that matters. I'll keep checking back , I won't abandon this even though the card doesn't owe me anything. Thanks for helping
