Cyberhome CH-DVD 500 http://www.cyberhome.com/products.asp?Product=500 I bought it at Best Buy B&M for $119, but amazon has it for $99. It has tons of features, from 5.1/DTS decoder to JPG/Mp3. Plays all VCD/SVCD I tried. Seems compatible with cheaps CDRs. Picture and sound quality is amazing...
