Has anybody successfully upgraded a Mac Pro 2009 Quad-Core with a Gulftown 6-Core chip? According to the Anandtech review here the single socket Mac Pro has a heat spreader on the processor. A retail i7 980X should fit physically. I can't find any info on the web and Apple sites do not seem...
