ECS-FRY's all the way. NEVER had any problems. Writing this on a 3rd ECS-AMD MB (upgrades), that's working for 3 years now.
K7S5A, XP-2000+ : no problems with drivers in linux!
Got this camera for around $180. Great camera! Later got the panasonic fast memory card from fry's.
The 480X640x30FPS is a unique mode and hard to find, but i'm having a small delay between sound and image when taking a movie (all reolutions). That said, it;s a GREAT CAMERA!
My seggestion for the operators of this site: create a sticky thread called FRY's deals. I know that you prefer to make money to create these kind of threads, but how about as a service to your readers?
Used to browse Orange County Register online fry's ads. They were PDF's and life was good. Then someone decided to replace that system that with a stupid new system that used Javascrpit.
Anyway the new system is highly unsrandard, I cant even get at the ads. (I use firefox, shoot me)
Could...
Very good deal - ONLY if you think for the short term. See this interesting article.

I'd really really like to see a banchmark comparision between a K7S5A/2400+ and chipzilla P4 2.4. It beats me why some falks would buy Intel when you can get somthing this good for that little.
I have proudly owned k7s5a and now i own a K7S5a pro. No overclocking but ZERO problems, also Linux...
Bought the ECS and XP2000+ a while back, it's GREAT! (no overclocking though)
Just wondering if there is a short benchmark of that vs, say, P4 800Mhz 2.4
ie what do you get for $250 vs paying $70
I don't understand this. Does this software offer anything not in BIND (the DNS server
included in linux), or for that matter anything not in microsoft's own DNS server?
