Hi again! my dvd/cd drive (see title) recognizes all originals cds and dvds, and some copied cds (the ones backed up in the usa). but I can't play my old cds I have from spain, neither rewrittable cds. They appear like blank cds. what is going on? is there any solution? is it a hardware problem...

I have a dell inspiron 8600, and ramdomly it goes into a black screen when windows xp loads. If I press fn+f8 (conmut LCD/CRT) the problem fix and the image appears in the screen. What is the problem? Is it normal? Should I call dell' s technical service? Any idea? Thank you very much, and sorry...

I have tried both drivers, the dell one and the catalyst but I get the same issue. If I start windows in vga mode I cannot change anything from the display properties panel because when I click ok the screen become balck (even if I change only colors in a 640x480 resolution).
