same as topic.. Are the PSU sata power compatible with the 2.5" sata HDD (notebook hdd) ? Will it be over power(kill it) ?? I have one lying around and would like to put it in the desktop instead of buying an enclosure for it.

Sometimes when I restart my windows 7, it shows only 1 core available. I have to restart it again to have all 3 cores. Is this my processor problem or Windows? It happens in Win 7 build 7226 and Win 7 7600. Any idea why?
