Stating what motherboard your pc is using would be useful. You can use cpu z to find out the name of the motherboard.

I don't really have a clue which temp represents what. The gpu one is obvious, temp1 might be the northbridge or southbridge, temp 2 is probably the cpu as I can remember that the temp was between 60-70s with the heatsink the machine came with and 50-60 using arctic freezer pro. No idea what...

I know what happens if the psu fails but when I was saying "cheap", I didn't mean some random £3 psu. More in the £30-40 range Also wouldn't the thermalright ultra 90 achieve similar results (some degrees warmer) than the 120 one just by replacing the 90mm fan with a 120mm one?
