the bios beeps are just a repeating loop which the manual means no DRAM detected... i dont know if "short" is the right word for what i did to the mobo on the earlier problem... someone suggested i take the mobo out of the case and then hook stuff up cuz i might have had too many...

i have a hercules geforce2 MX... i tried another monitor and sure enuff it brings up the video fine... and theres only 1 connector for that type (cant remeber if its male or female, but it is blue and has 3 rows), there is conenctors for other types of RGB hookups or something... but no others...

Hello, Just trying to get my new computer up and running... had a few problems where I was shorting the mobo before but I solved that problem... Now this is my problem: I have a 128mb stick of pc133 mushkin ram that, when I place it in slot-1 or any slot for that matter, the memory count only...

okay first boot update----- i was shorting the mobo with some extra screws to hold it down... i can get it to post now... so my problem now is the monitor is in blinking green/amber standby mode, and my post gives me long beeps in a loop... manual says that means no DRAM installed or...
