Thanks for clarify that the 440bx only supports agp2x. So as long as the mobo supports 4x, then it is compatible with 8x, so something like a via apollo 133 which has agp 4x would work with 8x cards right? BTW, how much of a decrease in performance happens from running 8x cards at 4x?
