Did a search and didnt find anything I just installed Mandrake on my laptop and wanted to stick RC5 on it too.Im fairly new to linux so I was wondering if their was an FAQ or if someone could help me set it up?

Ok well the 39160 card is a dual channel card The HD is all alone on its own channel On the other channel I have a PLextor40 Max and a Yamaha BurnerI tried HDtach and got readins as low as 5.7 and as high as 7ms Still seems kinda slow Does NTFS slow it down at all?

Well Ive got a Addtronics W8500 with all the fans I turned the 2nd fan around and it also dropped a couple degrees;) Either way Im happy;)
