[PCPER] Testing GPU Power Draw at Increased Refresh Rates using the ASUS PG279Q

I have to disagree here. Every time there is even a suspicion that something is wrong with AMD hardware, the press all over the planet comes forward with huge articles in their first pages, full of analysis, photos, tests, videos, interviews with people, technicians, actors, presidents...

Purch Acquires AnandTech, Dominates Tech Expert and Enthusiast Market

The same company that owns Tom's Hardware. I would prefer North Korea considering Tom's objectivity and integrity.

Not Buying A Used Card: Which 780?

None. You wait and see what 970 and 980 will have REALLY to offer and at what price. Then you decide.

How would an R9 290 run on old pc.

It will run just fine. And even if it is a couple frames slower than with the latest super duper Haswell processor, you only pay for the card. Going for the full upgrade option when you don't really need to upgrade your motherboard and cpu, just for the fear that the cpu will be a bottleneck...

    AMD's Tonga - R9 285 (Specs) and R9 285X (Partial Specs)

Haven't thought about color compression on the APUs. Very good point.

    AMD's Tonga - R9 285 (Specs) and R9 285X (Partial Specs)

Mantle performance is disappointing, or maybe I could say that Mantle is turning to something with no future if every new card ends up with negative impact on performance compared to DirectX. On the other hand, I wonder if the processor used here has something to do with it. We do know that...

    AMD's Tonga - R9 285 (Specs) and R9 285X (Partial Specs)

No, your wrong conclusion is ridiculous. In the future try to distinguish between an observation and a complain. And next time you call someone ridiculous, try doing it in front of a mirror not a monitor(except if you are using a camera of course).

    AMD's Tonga - R9 285 (Specs) and R9 285X (Partial Specs)

Now that thing in the end about being ridiculous, you really think that makes ME look ridiculous and not the one who writes it? You can express your opinion and still be polite. It's not difficult. Trust me.

AMD Needs Your Help - Driver Feedback Requested

Guys put more people on your site. I had to write you in the past 3-4 times to fix the page that was stating that only 260X was supporting trueaudio, and not 260. You fix it like 6 months later. It took you only 1+ years to add 760K in the desktop comparison chart. You finally updated the AMD...

    AMD's Tonga - R9 285 (Specs) and R9 285X (Partial Specs)

Many interesting stuff on the front page yesterday. When you see the new Xeons become second news in a matter of hours to Lumia there are two things that comes to mind. First, mobiles are considered more important for Anandtech. Second, 285 is last weeks news. So, it is not important anymore...

    AMD's Tonga - R9 285 (Specs) and R9 285X (Partial Specs)

It's funny how addicted someone can become to a site. I have seen numerous reviews about 285 and I am still waiting for Anandtech's review like the card haven't yet released.

    AMD's Tonga - R9 285 (Specs) and R9 285X (Partial Specs)

Maybe they where talking about cpus only. Only Intel is mentioned in the article, not Nvidia. Let's hope excavator is old tech and not canceled tech.
