I'm having a weird problem with my computer powering off my screen when it goes into sleep mode. I'm running Windows 7. it used to just turn the screen blank after the specified time of turning the screen off. I have not made any changes to power management at all. I would appreciate the help.

I seem to be having a problem with some suspicious files in my tmp folder. My antivirus keeps picking up a bunch of .dll and a few .exe files. My antivirus picks them up and then quarantines them, but they seem to be replicating and coming right back. It seems to be not stop. Here is a picture...

I think I remember seeing an article somewhere ( maybe on this site) that said doing a quick reformat is the same as booting into DOS and doing a secure erase. I was just wondering if that was correct. Thanks.
