    Multi-Instance WinAmp in XP?

ooooooooh! someone is quite the badass! hehe thanks man, it did work.. although, the only output option i had was the " cross-fading direct sound output v1.37" -- so I used that but I turned off the cross-fading feature. Under the normal "winamp2 wave out plugin v1.03" i did get it to work...

    Multi-Instance WinAmp in XP?

Madness.. I'm running 2.80 also, but I also de-installed it and went back to like 2.62.. still, no difference. So, now I am back to 2.80. I have a feeling its related to the SB Audigy. I dont know how or why.. but it probably is. Very odd.. very odd.

is XP's remote access secure over networks?

I have a client that wants to access their Peachtree financial information from away. They have no server and simply have a dynamic DSL connection that comes into the office and is splitup through a normal hub. Do you guys think Win XP's remote access feature is secure? And, is it possible to...

    Multi-Instance WinAmp in XP?

Couple of weird bugs that appear to be WinAmp related. I'm just started using XP and have an SB Audigy MP3 (w/ most recent drivers). I am noticing that WinAmp can not go into multi-instance mode, even though I do have that option enabled. Any ideas as to how this can be resolved? - Mike Oh...

Deleted Partition - Never formatted (is all lost?)

Ah yes, I used spinrite back in the day for a problem like the one you had, where I accidentally deleted a partition and did a quickformat!!! I did use spinrite and it did indeed recover a great deal amount of stuff.. not ALL, but a fair amount. Anyway, I highly recommend it.

Holy poo.. I cant beleive it made such a BIG difference in how my eyes feel when looking at the monitor. I havent bothered touching refresh rates in years since I dont play video games anymore (since the DOOM days anyway), and I've noticed my eyes have been tiring more and more lately...

P3 + VIA + XP + SB Live ... any troubles with this combo?

Im not particularly pleased with VIA chipsets, but you may want to consider downloading and installing the VIA 4-in-1 drivers for your OS.. they did resolve a LOT of sporadic problems I had with my client's system. [xFx]

XP problems -- tell me there's some hope with these minor glitches! :)

Well.. I solved all but one of my problems: Problems #1 and #2 were linked. I had an older version of Anti-Viral Toolkit Pro that wasnt working too well with XP. It worked, but it would slow down the system during those two situations: right click OR when loading explorer. OTHER than that...

XP problems -- tell me there's some hope with these minor glitches! :)

    >>the super mario bros graphics and over-exaggerated anime >Huh? Hmm I guess not everyone is against the over-colorful XP appearance. I just tend to like a classic windows feel with no menu animation or sounds. ?? :) To each their own. With problem #1, yes, when I do go into diagnostic...

XP problems -- tell me there's some hope with these minor glitches! :)

Well folks, I went ahead and installed XP pro and I've got just about everything tuned. Man oh man, I spent a good 2-3 days removing tons of settings from the stock XP OS.. the super mario bros graphics and over-exaggerated anime was really getting to me. I've been building and repairing PC's...
