I second the 600m choice. It's around ~5.4 lb's and has a decent graphics card if you make sure and choose 64MB 9000 Mobility. Don't skimp on the LCD screen either as you can't upgrade that at all. You can change out the hard drive and memory if you are willing.

I picked up XGIII Extreme G Racing for $9.90 + tax at Fry's today. It looked like an advertised sale as they had a little sign next to it.

Could someone please explain to me the $5 Best Buy Gamer gift card deal? I've seen the card in a cd case at the store, but I'm not sure if I understand the benefit. Is it that you are paying $5 for a $5 gift card? Thanks!
