My friend called me and he said that he got a new computer with 6800GT AGP and when hes plugging it in and he turns the computer on it just dont see the new card. he said that he is using 400W power supply. can this be the problem?

If i could il buy 4GB RAM but i have a budget i already have a Geil 256MB and i can buy another Geil 512 or another Crosair 512 but since i think il be better with Dual Channel i decided to go on Geil and i cant afford more than 512 :(
P.S. can i use Dual Channel if the sticks doesnt have the...
im not planning to do alot of 3d editing its just a hobby, i model cars and stuff when im bored and i play games and im making signatures for forums in Photoshop i think its like:

Ii didnt buy the computer but its going to be probably in a closed place, and im not interested in a silent computer i just dont want to spend money on things that i dont need.
