Yea, I swapped out my 780ti for 2 R9 290x and watchdogs and it went from rough to unplayable.

So I am building my brother a PC and the last piece is the GPU, I had found both(close prices) GTX 580 and the R9 270x's are selling everywhere. Issue number one is answering my question is I grabbed a 500 watt PSU so If I do get the 580 Ill need a 600ish watt or so and that will cost 50+ more...

Heck of a psu there, I'm using the 860 and also have a x-1250. They have great costumer service as well.

I use MSI afterburners monitoring software and check gpu and cpu usage for each thread, and when I find that my framerates drop low to check whats at max usage. Atleast give you a baseline of your system usage,
