Lydia:
I cant for the life of me get any 9800SE video card to be stable on this board.
I thought that the card was stuffed so I took it back to get another one only to have the same problem.
Could you please put one it your test system and try to run 3DMark05 right through all tests and...
Ok guys,
I've been playing around some more and if you wanna get higher try this.
In the Bios in the LTD options change the Upstream & Downstream to 8bit. Change your memory to 166MHz. Start winding up the FSB
I can get alot higher and stable with this and no I dont lose any memory bandwidth...
Im back down at 256x9 so I can get my memory 1:1 but I have lost alot of memory speed now and I cant figer out why.
I changed the memory back to 200MHz timmings are stil 2.5-3-3-6 2.8v but only getting 55xx in SiSoft
Hmmmm.....
Ok I'm priming ATM so I dont wanna reboot but I think I have remembered all of them lol
CPU FSB @ 292 with LTD at 600MHz 1.6vcore (But can go lower with that)
Memory set to 166MHz (2.5-3-3-6 2.8v)
All other voltages at default as they did nothing
Tried AGP Fastwrites off but that didnt...
Rather weird.
I installed my better cooler again but cuz it is so big I moved my memory from 1-2 to 3-4 and I couldnt get anywhere near the clocks I had before.
I tried 1-3 (Single Channel) and still didnt come close.
I put them back in 1-2 (On a bit of a lean resting on the cooler) but I get...
Many a hours tewaking LOL
It now cold boots with the OC still as well. I just changed things one at a time and tested it out. Voltages. LTD at different speeds and what not. Memory chaged to 166MHz and loosin off the timmings to 2.5-3-3-6
The CPU vcore dont make much difference I just put it...
Hahahahaha... I knew this board had more in it LOL
I cant quite get it to do 300FSB but Im not giving up :)
I have it at 289FSB and here is a screen shot
Screen shot
**EDIT** Remember Im still on the stock cooler :( I will be changing that back to my Thermalright XP120 in the next few...
