Krugger A 300W power supply will be plenty. I built one for a friend and the 300W PS blew (it was defective). For two months while we waited for an RMA, it ran off of a 235W power supply I had spare. I don't recommend lower then 300W for obvious reasons, but I think 300W will be more then...

Well, just because it's compaq, doesn't mean it won't work for a LAN party (though you'd have to not mind all the looks and heckling) :) Still, if we went with a meet 'n greet kinda thing, we wouldn't be bringing computers ;)

The best one I could see was an Abit ZM6. I don't think it has anything integrated, but it can still be found (a big plus). You could probably get an i815 or VIA chipset mobo cheaper, but I think the 440ZX chipset is better then anything other then the 440BX chipset (for stability and speed)...

Out of curiousity, why would it matter? I've used both and they are great cards...

I ordered a gift certificate for my dad last year for his birthday. I ordered it 10 days before the date he should get it, and asked for 2nd day air. It got there a month late. Then their customer service people did NOTHING about it. That's why I say they are suck ;)
