Dell's site is a nightmare: you have to click on desktops, then the middle option under Studio (Studio Desktop), then the second from left to right and then config from there.

@Schmide Whoa, one gig of memory on that card? Sweet. But again, not to make a total fool of myself (maybe it's too late for that), the specification tab on that very page you linked to says it requires a 400W power supply. Will my 350W Dell explode if I try to install that card in there?

I went back to the configuration for this machine (at dell.com) and changed the video card to the GeForce 9800 GT. Granted, they charge me 150 for the card, but I'm assuming that they've done something to the power to make it work? What gives?

I just noticed that the video card shows it requires a power wattage over and above what dell studios churn out. Is this gonna be a problem?

Yeah I made sure that it's compatible with a couple different sites, but 4allememory has one of those handy little widgets where you punch in your make and model and they show you exactly what module you need. THen I double checked it with dell.com. So I'm thinking I agree with reloading XP...
