The router I have is:
NETGEAR WNDR3400 N600 Wireless Router Simultaneous Dual Band IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n 2.4/5GHz
As far as I know, it will just be a home network. Shouldn't need to log in through a web page.
thanks
I actually already have a router, and don't have a wireless dongle :)
Historically, I've had bad luck with USB dongles. They seem to have poor reception and are unreliable. Plus, I'd have to install the software for it, whereas I would hope using the router would just be plug and play (I hope).
Hi guys, I will be moving to an apartment with only wifi internet. Instead of using a USB wireless internet dongle, can I bring a router with me an use it instead?
I just installed Windows 10, and so I'm not very familiar with it. Will there be any problems?
I don't know the make/model of...
Cool, I'll take a look. Since I may eventually cave and buy a TV, I don't want to spend too much on a tuner card for my computer.
Anybody know of a nice low-budget tuner? I see the ones for under $20, but I'm sure they're missing something. For example, the recognizable brand like Diamond might...
I haven't moved in yet, but I'm thinking antenna for now. Might get cable in the future, so the capability wouldn't hurt.
Where would I find the HDHomerun tuners?
thanks
Hi guys, I don't have an HTPC exactly (never have). But I'm just moving into an apartment across the country, and don't have a TV. Instead of investing a couple hundred dollars on one, I figured I could save some money by turning my computer into a TV. That would let me save (DVR) stuff too...
Hi, I'm a Windows Phone newbie, and am having an issue with my Nokia Lumia 520.
My Hotmail (Microsoft Account) email button disappeared from the Start page. I'm new at this, so I may have unpinned them by accident.
How do I get it back?
I tried going to Settings -> email + accounts...
Thanks. I've been using the 2010 version (also got it from a giveaway of the day). Frankly, I preferred Nero Express because it seemed to recognize my DVD drive better. Don't know where that CD went though.
I'll be using this Ashampoo 2013 version now :)
I have dusted the insides several times. In fact, I also took out the CPU and replaced it. Hopefully, that didn't do anything to the thermal paste between the CPU and heatsink.
I'm glad you brought up the OS. If I replace the motherboard, I really hope I don't have a problem getting Windows...
The computer has actually functioned fine over the past 2 years. It is only in the last 2 months or so that it's started freezing up. Wouldn't a driver issue have reared its head earlier?
The motherboard is a Biostar A780L3L AM3
