What's all this crap about a new FCC reg (02-230) that's going to make CD/DVD burners illegal, putting "broadcast flags" in digital TV signals, etc. Is this another hoax? Here's the link I was given.

From the description and the picture, I'd say it's the Hauppauge WinTV WITHOUT the TV tuner. Hence the price difference of $20 compared to $50. Full TV capture items can be had on eBay for around $20, so I'd call this an interesting find, but a cold deal.

Nothing is cheap without reason... what is the catch for these places? Banners? Pop-ups? They own the domain name?
