a higher rating ram will work at a slower speed meaning a 3700 can operate at 3200. Just like a 3200 can run at 2700...

I've also thought of this as a driver issue, as i do not hear the noise until XP is started. I have 1015, with all the sound settings tried before. I've ran memtest before for 24 hrs(i have Kingston ram). My PCI/AGP is locked at 33/66. I've tried to reinstall my video driver or tried earlier...

i've take off the power cable from the surge protector and plug it to the wall outlet directly...but it did not fix the problem...

no...i just plug in sony/panasonic earphones into the green jack... I'm still trying to find a way to fix it if i have time, i will take apart the whole comp again, just leave out my mobo on a cardboard and try it that way... if that still doesn't work, i'm gonna rma the board...hopefully...
