I've got a Big Typhoon and a 6600 @ 3.2 (1.45v) and the max I see is 62ish C, and that's only when it's warm in this room, and running two instances of Prime95 or Super PI. Though, the fan on the Typhoon is pretty quiet. I bet I could get much lower temps if I stuck a higher CFM fan on there...
