Personally I stay right away from Biostar, ECS, Jetway, PCChips, Syntax and other low name OEM manufacturers/suppliers and I'd advise you to do the same (a few extra $'s spent now will save ya more $'s later). :beer:
IMHO unless ya doin' a lot of video encodin'/editin' or runnin' a database RAID isn't worth it (neither the cost of setup or hassle of havin' to rebuild the array when a drive drops out on ya). :beer:
Showin' us screen shots of both the CPU and Mainboard tabs would help a lot but it sounds like ya either have a Northwood P4B version which runs a 133MHz FSB (533QDR) or a P4C version with the 3:2 CPU/memory ratio set. :beer:

2 beeps has to do with your memory so try reseating it first and they need a firm push to seat them propperly. :)
But it would help to have a better PSU too.
Are you sure that it's ".VXD VMN" or ".VXD VMM" because if it's the last then READ this article as I had the same problem and that is the fix.

4MB SIS PCI VGA

but kept the monitor.
The mother in law now uses it for word...
