Hye shooter... I had the exact problem with corrupt files... so you're saying that even though I have a 1.333, I should lower it to 1Ghz for the installation? (I didn't over clock it, and it's giving me problems)... and Mingon, are there problems with Soundblaster Live and 2k? I have that...

I just put this thing together... so the memory problem could have caused the file to seem corrupt? I'll give it a try by changing to SDRAM from my old computer and see what happens... (only 128Mb :P)

Have you considered the Plextor 12×10×32? It's about 150. Go to pricewatch and search for plextor 12. I've burned about 120 CDs so far at 12× with no prob. [edit] You can get it retail from cnetpc.com... I've never ordered from there before though.

Um... I tweaked it... the numbers did increase. I changed the values back... the numbers remained increase. I didn't really feel an increase in speed... but rather just the numbers increase from those bandwidth measuring sites. what's going on?
