New Egg's got it for 183. Reading the reviews their of all the Ti4800's, there appeared to be some problems with the 3.6ns flavor but this one, the 3.3 vs should be good to go

A little extra info on the card I'm considering purchasing: Gainward Ultra/750-8X XP, Nvidia GeForce 4 Ti 4800 SE, 8X AGP, Golden Sample retail package , Nvidia GeForce 4 Ti 4800 SE, 3.3ns 128mb DDR AGP 8X, Overclocking enhanced performance mode.

I'm considering getting this as a balance between cost, performance and the need to upgrade from my G3. I'm interested to hear any and all opinions on this card.

Do not install the OS on another machine. Get all your valuable info off of tghe hard rive in question. F-disk the mofo and let Win XP take care of everything else. This is a time proven method for me when absolutely nothing will work
