I personnally have a 64gb version installed and it is really fast. I can't compare with Sandforce-based drives (don't own one myself) but you will notice the increase in performance compared to mechanical HDDs. And, at 1$ per GB, this is a very good deal.

Actually, I think this is a bug with the whole engine Valve uses. I had the exact same bug with Half-Life 2, in Crossfire too.

Well, I can't comment precisely on ASROCK products since I've never bought one but if I am correct, this is the "budget" division of ASUS, who are probably the mobo maker who makes the most stable motherboards (in my opinion). So I guess you have a fairly good chance to avoid instability.
