I bought a Clevo laptop last May with a SB quad core, GT540M, 1080P screen and 8 gigs of ram for $900. That was a year ago and I still love the laptop today. It plays BF3 just fine on low settings so I know it will play Diablo.

I've got an ASUS K50IJ laptop that the screen is dim on and you cannot adjust it. I took it apart and it has a Samsung LTN156AT02 panel. At this point I have ordered two screens off of ebay/amazon that were supposed to be "compatible" and neither one worked. They wont even show a picture at all...
