Same feelings here as most others. It's a slight improvement, but not much. Gaming I've noticed a little faster load times. My 74GB Raptor is used for OS/Apps only. My next build wont be featuring a Raptor. The performance gain is small and the price is large, for what I use the dirve for anyway.
I'm always partial to Monoprice myself. Shipping is very reasonable, they combine shipping and they're close enough, for me, to drive and pickup large orders. I've yet to be disappointed with quality too.

Tapping someone elses utilities, secure or not, is generally illegal. Be it water, phone, electricity or internet. While in many cases it does fall into a gray area, it's just smart to not do it in the first place.
I've been running Filezilla for the last year or so and I like it. It's not as refined as some of the other ftp server software I've used, but the price is right.
