    Worth The Upgrade?

Hello, just recently "upgraded" to a Amd 64 3700+, 1 gig of corsair ram with a mobo with AGP. I'm currently running a 6600GT with 128 megs of ram. Would it be worth it to upgrade (AGP only)? If so, what would be the best bang for my buck?

    "Upgrading" on the Cheap

Ok, I've decided to go the ASROCK 939. Still undecided with the CPU (x2 3800+ or x2 4600). I'll be doing some gaming, websurfing, and some photoshop, nothing too drastic. I have a stick of 512 Kingston(pc2700) ram. Should I stick with that or upgrade to 1 gig? If so, what would be the best ram...

Does it support X2? Looks like it only supports single core.

    "Upgrading" on the Cheap

As per my previous post, looks like the AM2 4800+ and 5200+ will not be coming out. :( So, with that said, I want to do minimal upgrading as possible. Conroe is not an option. I was thinking x2 3800+ or x2 4400+. I need suggestions on a mobo that still runs AGP. Thanks in advance anandtech'rs! ;)

    AM2 Availability

Thanks for the replies, so, it would be safe to wait until end of this year for a 5200+? I'm falrly new when it comes to mobo's, but I did remember last time I built my comp, I was told not to go to the highest cpu for that mobo as it will cause stability issues. Anyone know a good 5200+ mobo?

    AM2 Availability

Am I the only one finding that there are no AM2 4800+ or 5200+ available anywhere!?:disgust: I did find a pricing guide somewhere here that several posters put together, but I can no longer find it, can someone please point me to the right direction? Thanks in advance. ;)

    Best 939 Mobo

Upgrading thanks to the new price cuts from AMD. Just need some suggestions. Gaming, light photoshop, websurfing, documents (homework). Not thinking about OC'ing. Athlon x2 5000+ or x2 4600 (939, not thinking about AM2, right now)? Motherboard? Ram - XMS2 2 Gig Video Card - 7900GT...

Cheap Mobo For AMD 2400 Athlon

I'm basically a n00b and would appreciate some responses. Here's the deal, I have a AMD 2400 Athlon and my motherboard is going on the fritz. I am currently going back to school this fall and would just need something to replace this mobo. I am currently running 512 (pc2700) and a 6600GT...

PS3 to SHIP with 60Gig HDD

I'll be in line for one! I heard the reason it might have a HD with that much capacity is it might actually have TiVo built it. That's just one of the things I've been hearing about PS3.

    Newbie PC Build

I am currently running an AMD 2400 XP, 512 megs of ram (PC2700 - Kingston Value), and a 6600GT. I was just playing the single player demo for F.E.A.R. and I don't know whether or not it was because it's a demo, but it would somewhat skip at points in the game. Otherwise, it looks like a good...

    Newbie PC Build

This is basically going to be my second PC build and it looks like I'm behind the times. I was thinking of going AMD 64 x2 4400, (hard drive and optical drives are taken care of), 2 Gigs of Ram, a 7900 card, and a 19'' lcd (thanks to anandtech's LCD forum). Now my question would be, what...

    Canon SD500 $388 after coupon!!!

Well, this is my first digital camera and I have done extensive research. A co-worker suggested to go to a store (Bestbuy, CircuitCity, Staples) and actually hold and play with the cameras. I decided on picking this up because the size, the megapixels, and the Canon name. I can hardly wait until...
