    WDE1830A-6029B0 is a Western Digital drive now help me with the LVD part, the SCA 80 SCSI Adapters come in two varieties.

    Wide Ultra SCSI 3 Any chance the WDE designation could be Seagate. I'm getting closer, I'm illiterate with SCSI but his seems to be SCA 80? Ist it LVD or not?

    80 flat contacts, 40 above and 40 below center plastic piece, modified D shape 2.25 X .25 inches. Compaq part # 400867-001. No power connector. MDL # WDE18300-6029B0. Any help appreciated

    Weird connector inside the cage that holds the HDD, I'll count the pins when I get home. I don't know the proper name of the device that holds the SCSI HDD and slides in and out of the computer case. Compaq Proliant 2500 I think is what the drive was in.
