I was actually able to get windows reinstalled by attaching a PS2 keyboard. Once that was attached, both it and the USB keyboard seemed to work. The thing is, after I got it installed I rebooted and unplugged the PS2 keyboard. The USB still isn't working after booting into windows.
Just overhauled my computer and I'm having trouble getting the USB keyboard and mouse to respond.
They both work in the UEFI just fine but as soon as the "windows loading" screen comes up when booting to installation media, the lights on the keyboard/mouse go out and I am no longer able to...
I have a modem and wireless router in one area. In another room I have a new TV that has an ethernet connection. What is the component that I would need to put by my TV that could connect to my wireless network and have an ethernet cable run to the TV to give it connectivity?
Thanks,
Vyx

I have a rear projection tv that has a curve at the bottom and a slight cuve at the upper right and left hand corners. It was fine yesterday but today when I turned it was like this. Anyone know what the problem is?
Here is what it looks like:

Does anything security scanning/intrusion detection software exist that allows security auditing of a workstation in a "click this button and get a report" type of way?

I've been having some trouble getting my ipod connected to itunes. For some reason the apple mobile device service will not start.
I have been able to sync successfully up until about 2 weeks ago. I saw that there was an update for itunes so I decided to install it hoping it would fix the...
I'm trying to use the display size option (see image) on a 1900x1200 laptop to make the screen easier to read while maintaining clarity. I could just change to a lower resolution such as 1680x1050 however, the display is no longer crisp and clear when switching from the native resolution...
Alright, thanks. I'll grab a UPS and a new DVI cable.
Cooling shouldn't be an issue because I'm running this in an Antec P182 and all the cabling is run behind the motherboard.
Cross posting from [H]. Please help!
Original Post Short version: I went through 4 EVGA 8800 GTX RMAs. Video Cards kept dying. Most thought it was either a PSU or Mobo issue.
Current:
I got a new 750w XFX power supply as well as a working motherboard from a friend. I swaped everything...
Is it possible for a motherboard to kill a video card?
If so, how? Through a bad PSU?
The reason I ask is because I've had to RMA 4 8800 GTX's to EVGA in the past couple of months because they always start artifacting and then blue screening after a couple of months. After this, even when...

The first is when I'm trying to access directories either on a partition of my main (C: ) drive or when accessing my raided drives (raid 1). Everything will lock up for ~2-5 seconds. During this time I can see the cursor spinning...
