Thanks. Another newbie question: The specs for A7V8X-X on Asus website say that the mobo will accept PC2700 Max to 4 banks only. What does Max to 4 banks only mean?

Nbody using Centon sticks? I know it might be trivial, but I heard some mobos don't like non-brand memory.

Simple question: this week Circuit City has a sale on cheap Centon PC2700 (DDR333) memory. What quality motherboards (Asus or other) will accept Centon PC2700? A7V8X-X? A7V600? Anybody using Centon, what is your experience?

I was "raised" on Asus MBs, but also heard a lot of nice words from friends about Abit and Soyo motherboards. Abit boards are covered hear frequently and seem to be very popular. What about Soyo boards? Are they stable, quality boards? I checked their website and their top of the line boards...
