Ok after further research I am going back on my claim that MP3 decoding just means digital inputs.
After poking around ebay and google i found this:
DAL-150 USB -> PCM
Interesting little device. I guess this would be useful for someone that doesn't have a soundcard with digital outs...
I've been shopping around for a home theater receiver this week and came across this:
DCR600
-------Description from the site ----------
Packed with features, the DCR600 includes Dolby® Digital and DTS® decoding; Logic 7® Cinema and Music surround modes; two modes of VMAx® virtual...
OK just installed the Mushkin memory and confirm the following from CPU-Z.

CAS # Latency: 2.5 clocks

For those of you that got in on this deal I was able to return the (2) 128mb RAM sticks and 48x CDRW today. What you won't believe is how much I got for them!
(2) 128mb RAM sticks - $82
(1) 48x CDRW - $82
I purchased this laptop last Friday @ Office Depot and the Mobility Radeon 9600 has been runnning great so far on the WoW beta. Definately a significant difference vs my Compaq X1000 which has a Mobility Radeon 9200. From what I've read the new Mobility Radeon x800 kicks serious butt, however...
Picked up a pack at lunch today. The memory modules on the sticks are Promos V58C2256 on a dual sided DIMM. Has a "Dual Mushkin 1gb PC3200" sticker on it with part number 3884167. Called Mushkin and provided all the above information and confirmed that it is Cas 2.5. The support rep stated...
My situation is that I need to purchase (2) 512mb sticks of memory. Currently I will be using it on a non dual channel motherboard (@ PC2700). I'm just trying to plan ahead for when I will need a CPU/Mobo upgrade soon.
So I guess being that the Mushkin is Cas 2.5 it is faster and therefore...
I think that most likely the Mushkin memory at Fry's are these:
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=20-146-219&depa=0
Cas 2.5-4-4
How does this compare to the Corsair Value Select PC3200?
I don't think it's Mushkin Blue, if you go to newegg.com Mushkin sells a basic "green" series as well.
From what I can tell the Corsair is cas 3 vs Mushkin cas 2.5, however I'm not sure on the other timing specs as it's been awhile since I bought memory.
Looks like a pretty hot deal for both the Corsair and the Mushkin.
Since they are basically about the same price after rebate anyone have any comments as to which one of these sticks is better?
Thanks
