Extend internal wireless range on laptop?
What i am saying is that without using the router, i do get signal on my laptop with my wireless nic, but i do have a wireless router that i am not using right now, can i use that to boost the signal? -

Extend internal wireless range on laptop?
How do I setup a wireless modem to get wireless internet connection? I have a USB wireless NIC, and a D LINK wireless router. And my university is pretty close, and i can actually get the signal but its really weak. any ideas on how to boost it?
